I'm sorry.
Dear Blogspot,
I'm thinking of leaving you.
In fact, I am leaving you. I can no longer contain my award worthy visuals within the constrains of your visual impound. My visual wings have sprouted, like a fresh core of an iceberg lettuce, which leaves me no choice.
Blogettes, you shall now be able to find me sporting my very own, bespoke but juicy web portal, containing limited confines of my vernacular identification.
Thank you for hosting my flavoursome visuals over the past few years, we have had fun. I am on the take off strip and ready for some in-flight nibbles.
So long.
A C Phillips

FMP: BHP vs Torque. Graph.
Here I have drawn up a very delicate graph form. This is in a typical style that I could call my signature. Notice just as I wanted, it shows the increases and improvements with the power of the BMW.
Also notice the use of the 'line of best fit,' how it does not fit at all although the graph clearly follows a certain trend.

FMP : Design in Process
Here I am posting some of my design process. Click to see a more suitable scale and read my notes if you wish. This illustrates the ways in which I aim to display design with a reason, more than I would a design without any. Here I wish to create an artcar with graphics serving a purpose and supplying data which equals the new found knowledge on the spectators behalf.

FMP RESEARCH : Mapping Data. 330d Performance Torque, Staffordshire, UK.
Here is a BMW 330d which arrived at Performance Torque on the 25th March for a Remap. This Remapping consists of running the car with the driving wheels on a dyno, which itself is linked and connected to a computer. This computer is also linked to the ECU of the vehicle, which will enable the engines capabilities to be increased as the fuel level is turned up and the Turbo is tuned to its optimum capabilities. In the space of an hour, we saw the engines Bhp output rise from 204 to 275Bhp.

Now here is the rear end view, which can give a better idea in what goes on within the mapping stage, in the creation of readouts and more. This rolling road is apparently built to last the extreme force of 200mph!
The engine is at this stage triggered and pushed to its limits, whilst large fans and vacumes suck out the fumes. An hour later after going away, then coming back again, the car is complete and ready for testing on the road.
I shall post data once I receive it.
One photograph has made it onto the Fan page of Performance Torques facebook group!

Notice the result above. This demonstrates an aesthetic that could be carried forward within my very own design of an Art Car. In some ways, the shapes within the graph almost imitate the shape of a small boxed euro hatch.
The research and fun continues until a suitable outcome is on its way.
I shall keep you posted.

2nd Year Exhibition & 3rd Year Almanac Presentation.
Blank Canvas from the Past!
This is a line drawing I did last night of my 2nd Year 'Blank Canvas.' This was a virtual/ digitized canvas I created in response to our 'Virtual Presence' brief. I am still contemplating taking this further and multiplying the dot matrix signs to provide space for information displays within a creative space, such as a studio or even a gallery.
